In this course, we will delve into the Gaon’s unique interpretation of Yonah, focusing on the dimension of “Remez” (allusion or hinted meaning), one of the four main levels of interpreting Torah texts. The Vilna Gaon, a brilliant Torah scholar and Kabbalist, offers a perspective that goes beyond the simple, literal meaning of the text.
