David Ripsman

My name is David, I am originally from the GTA, and I just started my medical residency in neurology at UBC! Vancouver is a beautiful city, and I am lucky to be here, studying and working in a field that I love. I am excited to call Vancouver home for at least the next 5 years.

One of the biggest challenges when moving to a new city is finding a community. It’s a pleasure to find a welcoming Jewish community in Vancouver. I want to thank Rabbi Shmulik for all the hard work that he has invested to make the Kollel into the thriving community it is today. I hope to support the Kollel by joining as a social lead and helping to welcome other members to the community.

In my spare time I love playing sports (soccer in particular!), hiking, biking reading, watching movies and playing board games. I always enjoy meeting new people, so if you see me do not hesitate to say hello!
