In addition, financial experts Alison and David Setton will guide you through key financial strategies and literacy, providing a clear picture of the financial landscape in Vancouver to help you build and secure your future.

Kids Program: We understand the challenges of juggling job hunting and family responsibilities. That’s why we’re offering a special kids program from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM for children aged 3 and up. While you focus on your future, your children can enjoy fun activities and a light brunch. Please note that registration for the kids program is necessary.

Elana Bick
Elana Bick is a Corporate Recruiter with 17 years of experience across industries like medical devices, insurance, architecture, and engineering. She has led hundreds of successful hiring processes and is an expert in all recruitment stages. Elana serves on the board of Congregation Schara Tzedeck and has a strong passion for supporting newcomers in refining their CVs and interview skills. Leah Rubin
Leah Rubin is the founder of “Foundation First HR” and has led HR departments in some of Vancouver’s most innovative high-tech companies, earning multiple ’employer of choice’ awards. She specializes in crafting HR solutions that give small businesses a competitive edge in attracting and retaining talent. Leah has served on several boards, including JFS Vancouver and the H.R. David & Alison Setton
David and Alison Setton are entrepreneurs building a financial brokerage based on the values of financial literacy, empowerment and providing access to financial services and strategies for everyone. Alison’s background was Environmental Engineering and entered financial services 13 years ago when she needed a career that provided flexibility of time, and was also meaningful. She has a successful life insurance practice with WFG Insurance Agency and is a Mutual Fund Representative with WFG Securities Inc., licensed in BC, Alberta and Ontario. She holds a BASc from UBC and an MBA from Queen’s University.
